A heavy downpour which lasted for 10 hours on Thursday in Owerri, the Imo State capital has put many in a dejected state, as people’s property were destroyed and submerged by flood.
Orizon News gathered that the area affected by the flood include Okigwe, Douglas, Mbari, Egbu Wethdral, Orlu, Port Harcourt and Ikenegbu, Orji, Federal Housing Estate, World Bank, Akwakuma and Works Layout. Three houses, including a church, Overcomers Christian Mission, were also flooded.
